If you all been watching the news recently, A Military base known as Fort Hood experienced an scary, tragic day. If you didn't read it I suggest you go to [link] and if you want an local news station from where I live [link] there's the link; This was an horrific ordeal for the men and women who fought for our freedom...Some who just got home from service in Iraq or Afghanistan had to face 2 or 3 shooters in a place they thought was safe. My sister's husband was on base at the time, but luckily he didn't get hurt or killed. What I don't understand is, what drove these shooters to do this? Was it a mental break down? If not, Why betray the Country they swore to protect?

There were schools and day care centers, Soldiers who trained and doing their jobs on post were on lock down, kids who couldn't get home to be in the arms of their mothers and fathers; Men or women who couldn't get home to be in the arms of their spouses to hold them close and tell them "Everything will be ok".

I used to work on base for about 7 or 8 months and I can assure you, it was the most secure place to work in. My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and Families of the victims in this tragic moment in life and history.
